    Rovers start summer shake-up

    08 May 2007 - 12:52:09

Doncaster Rovers have offered new contracts to Mark McCammon and Craig Nelthorpe, but have released five other first-team players.

Striker McCammon netted five times for Rovers before injury cut short his season in March, while teenage winger Nelthorpe has made 12 first-team appearances during his breakthrough campaign.

Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll has also offered a first professional deal to the club's youth team player of the season Matt Noble.

However, midfielder Sean Thornton and Danish goalkeeper Jan Budtz headline a clutch of players who have been told they have no future at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Liam Green, Adam Brown and Rob Pacey have also been told they are free to leave when their contracts expire in the summer.
