Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has wasted no time strengthening his squad by snapping up Preston midfielder Brian Stock on a one-month loan deal.

Stock played under O'Driscoll at Bournemouth before moving to Deepdale in January.

The 24-year-old still has four years left on his Preston contract but couldn't wait to be reunited with O'Driscoll at Belle Vue.

He made over 160 appearances for Bournemouth but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot at Preston, starting only five Championship games for the club.
