Rovers Mark Wilson looking forward to playing against his home town

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Mark Wilson will make his own way to Glanford Park for Saturday's Championship derby against Scunthorpe United But there is no danger of Wilson not being able to find the ground for he has lived in the town all his life.It is a game that the 31-year-old is looking forward to and one in which he is hoping to play some part."It's my home town, I've got a lot of friends and family there so it's a nice game for me to be involved in, but you never know what the gaffer is thinking," he said."He threw me in last year - I think it was one of my first starts last season - and it would be nice to play some part on Saturday.""It is a big game for both clubs and there is always a bit of needle with it being a derby."We threw away a two-goal lead, in a game in which we were in control, last year and ended up drawing 2-2 after having two men sent-off and we'll make sure that we don't do that again."The Iron have lost several key players since the two sides last met in their penultimate game of last season at the Keepmoat Stadium in late April. There has also been a change of manager, with Nigel Adkins taking over at League One Southampton. "He'd done great but the club is in very capable hands following the appointment of first-team coach Ian Barraclough as manager," said Wilson.
