Rovers consider Thomas contract

Doncaster Rovers are considering offering former Southampton defender Wayne Thomas a long-term deal. Thomas, aged 29, impressed on his debut for Rovers in Tuesday evening's 1-0 win against West Bromwich. Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He has done everything which an experience defender should do."He looked strong.
