Rovers: Stock is not for sale

Doncaster Rovers have told Championship rivals Swansea City that Wales international midfielder Brian Stock is not for sale.

The 28-year-old is entering the final year of his current contract at the Keepmoat Stadium, but boss Sean O'Driscoll is hopeful of agreeing a new deal.

He told the Yorkshire Post: "I have spoken to Brendan Rodgers and told him we are not looking to sell.

"Brian is fully aware of the conversation and nothing further from Swansea has since appeared.

"He's in the last year of his contract, so it becomes a difficult time for players and clubs, but we are in the process of negotiating a new deal."
