Doncaster Rovers have finally landed Hull City midfielder Jason Price for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The 28-year-old had been with the Tigers since the summer of 2003, having previously had spells with Tranmere Rovers, Brentford and Swansea City.
He told Rovers' official website: "I have been playing well recently so it was a bit of a surprise, but I know Dave Penney quite well so I'm looking forward to joining up with Rovers."
Price didn't feature at Blackpool as Rovers slumped to a 4-2 defeat, their fourth loss in six league outings.
Boss Penney fumed: "We were not good enough on the night and a mad two minutes just before half-time killed the game off as far as we were concerned.
"It wasn't an easy playing surface, but we gave them a goal from a long throw and then another by conceding a silly free-kick."
