Price is right for Rovers return

Doncaster Rovers are set to be handed a Christmas boost as Jamie Price is on course for a return to action during the festive programme.

The 22-year-old has been absent for a while after undergoing ankle surgery, but he has now started running with the help of injections into the affected area.

Price will step up to some more demanding training sessions next week as he looks to return before the end of the year.

Rovers should also have striker Leo Fortune-West back in action soon as he aims to return to full training before the end of the week after bruising a bone in his knee.
