Price hopes for Rovers return

Doncaster Rovers striker Jason Price is hoping to make his first-team return after scoring a hat-trick for the reserves.

Price, who has missed the opening weeks of the new campaign through injury, was on the mark three times in the second string's 7-0 rout of Darlington.

"Five or six games have already gone and it's killing me not being on the pitch," he said.

"I just want to play and I hope I've done enough to get a place on the bench against Birmingham this Saturday."
