Doncaster Rovers' promotion bid has been hit with the news that Jason Price could miss most of the rest of the campaign with an Achilles injury.
Price limped out of Sunday's 4-0 defeat at Oldham Athletic and scans have revealed a serious tear to a tendon in his ankle.
The loss of the key midfielder is a further blow to Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll, who is already without injured strikers Paul Heffernan and Mark McCammon.
Rovers are currently ninth in the League One table just four points adrift of a play-off place.
