Price blow mars Rovers win

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Jason Price may not play again this year after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final success against Bristol Rovers.

The 29-year-old, who had only been passed fit just before the match after being sidelined for a month, suffered the injury after an hour of the game.

Rovers won the Millennium Stadium showpiece after a fluctuating match. They threw away a two-goal lead before eventually beating the Pirates 3-2 after extra time.

Goals by Jonathan Forte and Paul Heffernan gave Donny a dream start, but the League Two side hit back to equalise, before Graeme Lee headed home what proved to be the winner.
