Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll urged his players to look forward to their play-off campaign, having seen the chance of automatic promotion slip through their fingers.
A 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town allowed Nottingham Forest to secure second place in League One and O'Driscoll was obviously disappointed.
He said: "We weren't firing on all cylinders and we gave a silly goal away and gave them something to cling on to.
"When we got the equaliser there looked like there was only going to be one team in it, but then they scored from a set play.
"We've had an opportunity but haven't taken it. Now we have another opportunity in the play-offs, but have to come through two difficult games.
"We had a bit of a sombre night, but we will move forward. If we can get through to a play-off final at Wembley then it will be another great day for the fans."
