Boss Sean O'Driscoll admitted that there were some harsh words after his Doncaster Rovers side collapsed to a 4-1 defeat at Barnsley on Saturday.
Rovers led 1-0 and had a man advantage shortly after half-time at Oakwell, before being shocked by a stunning comeback by the Tykes.
O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "We didn't do the things that we have been doing.
"I thought that we dominated the start of the second half as well, I think that we dominated up until the point that Darren Moore got sent off.
"We then conceded a goal from a set play, which has been our Achilles heel so far this season.
"Then we lost our organisation, which we know that if you do in this division, anybody can beat you.
"We were creating chances, we scored a goal and then the wheels came off. We had a long chat after the game and we know that things like that can't happen."
