O'Driscoll accepts cup reverse

Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll had no complaints after seeing his side beaten 3-1 at Aston Villa in an FA Cup fourth round replay.

Rovers were 2-0 down just 19 minutes in at Villa Park and were unable to get back on level terms, although they did pull a goal back right on half-time through Jason Price .

O'Driscoll said: "We did our homework on set-plays, but we were another team who couldn't cope with what they do in those situations and with their ability on the counter-attack.

"There is no disgrace in that. Our general play was excellent, but what happens in both boxes determines what happens in games and we have got to be better in both.

"The goals we gave away were not good and with the chances we created, we have got to do better. If we could solve that problem, we wouldn't be in the Championship."
