Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has completed the one-month loan signing of Birmingham City midfielder Jordon Mutch.

The 18-year-old spent a similar spell at League Two side Hereford United earlier in the season and he could be drafted into the squad ahead of Rovers' Championship clash against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.

Speaking to the club's official website, O'Driscoll said: "Jordon will come in and add an extra number to the squad.

"With Simon Gillett going back to Southampton, it looks as if that could flounder, so we need as many good players as we can and Jordan is a talented 18-year-old.

"We've taken him on a youth loan, which gives flexibility to both clubs and we will see how he develops."
