Mills revels in Rovers move

Manchester City defender Matthew Mills is pleased to have finally signed a permanent contract with Doncaster Rovers.

The 22-year-old played a key role in Rovers' promotion to the Championship last term, featuring in 41 matches during a two loan spells at the Keepmoat Stadium.

After completing his £300,000 transfer, Mills told the club's official website: "Yeah, it's been quite a long process. But I always wanted to come here and it was just the case of Manchester City allowing me to.

"With all the experience that I had last year and the memories of the highs, there has always been a good feeling to come back and, now I have, I'm delighted."
