Martis adds to Rovers' woes

Rock-bottom Doncaster Rovers' season shows no sign of improving after it was confirmed that Shelton Martis suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Watford.

The 26-year-old Dutch defender, who is on loan at the Keepmoat Stadium from West Bromwich Albion, had to be replaced by Sam Hird just before half-time.

Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "The indication from John (Dickens, head physio) is that he's torn his hamstring, which is very unfortunate.

"We've extended his loan from West Brom and then he gets an injury. He'll get it scanned on Monday and we'll see the extent of the injury afterwards."
