Lockwood: Donny not missing duo
Rovers have made a solid, if unspectacular, start to their second season in the Championship without Player of the Year Mills and playmaker Wellens, who were sold to Reading and Leicester during the summer for a combined £3million. Lockwood said: "It's given other people opportunities and allowed us to use the whole squad and so far I don't think anyone has let anyone down. "We've been playing well in some games, we've put in some good performances and it's been a solid start. "Now we want to start turning some of these draws into wins and the players in the squad are capable of doing that. "It's harder than ever to get wins in this division. You have to work really hard to get points on the board, but we feel the players here are good enough to push on."
