Hird admits Rovers must do better

Doncaster defender Sam Hird is confident the team spirit at Rovers will help see them through their current poor run of results.Sean O'Driscoll's side went down 1-0 at Millwall on Saturday and have now won only one of their last eight games in all competitions.Hird said: "The spirit remains strong in the dressing room. We have a good group of lads and will stick together."We have to now go into the game against Portsmouth (on Saturday) with the same attitude and organisation, but we need to play better. We have to be better on the ball."We can't do anything about the past, we have to look to the future and to Portsmouth and be solid."It's good to have the week to give the injured lads time to get themselves in contention and time for us to work on our overall game."
