Same again for Rovers
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders is expected to field an unchanged side when Oldham visit the Keepmoat Stadium.
With Andy Griffin (hamstring) injured, Saunders made one change from the midweek victory at Carlisle for Saturday's home clash against rivals Scunthorpe.
Paul Quinn returned at full-back and after seeing his side win the M18 derby 4-0, Saunders said: "The same players will be playing against Oldham in our game in hand, which will be a bit unfair really because we've just played three games in a week.
"The players were in [on Sunday] and as well as discussing tactics and looking at DVDs we tried to get as much food down them as possible to help them recover and hopefully we can take that performance into Tuesday night's game."
Midfielder Sammy Clingan made his return from a calf problem as a second-half substitute against Scunthorpe but defender Jamie McCombe (back) and winger Kyle Bennett (knee) are not yet ready to come back into the squad, despite resuming training.
Victory over Oldham will see Rovers move up to second in the table, level on points with npower League One leaders Tranmere.
Oldham will again be without injured pair Robbie Simpson and James Tarkowski as they prepare for the first game of their double-header.
The Latics head to the Keepmoat Stadium for their npower League One clash on Tuesday, before hosting Rovers in the FA Cup second round four days later.
Tarkowski is set to miss both games with a foot injury, while Simpson is only likely to be absent for the away trip with a groin problem.
Better news for manager Paul Dickov sees Jose Baxter and Cristian Montano return from one-match suspensions.
Montano's return will see Jonathan Grounds, who scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 victory against Shrewsbury filling in as a makeshift left midfielder, and Connor Brown both vying for a starting place at left-back.
Victory for Dickov's men would see them record three successive league wins for the first time in over two years.
