Duo concerns for Rovers
Chris Brown and Paul Quinn are fresh injury concerns for Doncaster ahead of the visit of Ipswich.
Striker Brown, only recently back in action following a month-long absence with an ankle injury, and defender Quinn both came off with hamstring problems during the defeat at Derby on Saturday.
Midfielder James Coppinger and striker Billy Paynter missed the trip to the iPro Stadium due to heel and Achilles niggles respectively, as an injury-ravaged Rovers prepare for the busy Christmas schedule. Defenders Jamie McCombe, Rob Jones (neck) and James Husband (shoulder) as well as midfielder Paul Keegan (hamstring) will remain on the sidelines.
Some good news from the weekend though saw Harry Forrester (torn quad) come off the bench against Derby to make his first appearance since the end of August while on-loan QPR defender Yun Suk-Young was named amongst the substitutes after missing the last seven games with an ankle injury.
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy must decide whether to keep faith with an unchanged line-up for a fourth successive match.
McCarthy stuck with the same starting XI for Saturday's 1-1 draw against Watford as the one which also claimed a point against Nottingham Forest and beat Huddersfield.
And, with no new injury or suspension concerns expected, McCarthy must choose whether to stick again as Town look to extend their unbeaten run to six matches.
The likes of Paul Anderson, Carlos Edwards, Jordan Graham, Stephen Hunt and Jay Tabb are among those pushing for recalls, while recent signing Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will again look to make the bench.
