Hume could return following Canada tripDoncaster will check on Iain Hume ahead of the visit of Brentford.Hume missed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Chesterfield and the league draw at Hartlepool last week while away on international duty with Canada. The on-loan striker, who scored his country's goal in their 8-1 thrashing in Honduras, will be assessed following his long-haul flight back to England. If unscathed and free from jet lag, Hume is expected to be restored to the Rovers' starting line-up.Manager Dean Saunders said: "We would've won the game on Saturday [at Hartlepool] if Iain had played. He's hardly played over the last fortnight because he was ineligible against Preston [Hume's parent club] so we'll monitor his condition when he gets back."Defender Jamie McCombe, with a hairline fracture of the spine along with a torn thigh muscle, is expected to be Saunders' only absentee.Jimmy Spencer is in line to make his Brentford debut. The striker joined on a month's loan from Huddersfield earlier this week to cover for the injured Farid El Alagui.El Alagui is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up a serious knee injury against Crawley earlier this month.Brentford's sporting director Mark Warburton hailed Spencer's arrival."Jimmy is a talented young player," he told the club's official website."He has performed well and scored goals in League Two and is producing impressive performances at development squad level."Bees boss Uwe Rosler has no new injury concerns to contend with as his side look to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.
