Doncaster bring in Sharp on loan

Doncaster Rovers have brought in Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp on a season-long loan. Sharp, 23, joined the Blades in 2007 for £2m but has only managed eight league goals in two years. Having started his career at Bramall Lane it was at Scunthorpe where he made his name, scoring an impressive 56 goals in 95 appearances.
