Woods: Rovers must toughen up

21 September 2009 18:12
Woods scored with a superb long-range effort in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Ipswich, but with just one win from their first eight league games, the 23-year-old feels Sean O'Driscoll's side need to work on the uglier aspects of their game on matchday. Woods told the club's official website: "It's something we've been working on in training, but there's only so much you can do on the training pitch. "When it comes to the match day, it's a case of being brave and getting your head in there at times. "Ipswich's strikers and defenders managed to do that and it happened on Tuesday night against West Brom. We need to tighten up now - it's just not good enough."
