Woods hoping to be in the clear

Doncaster midfielder Martin Woods hopes he has finally put his injury troubles behind him following his successful comeback against Reading. The 24-year-old Scot had been sidelined since the end of October due to a groin injury, but came through unscathed after stepping off the substitutes' bench for the last half an hour on Saturday. Woods said: "I'm delighted to be back. I've been working hard over the past couple of weeks and I feel better than I have done for ages. "Obviously my groin has been hampering me for ages and it was really affecting me. "I was taking injections before games and at half-time and it got to a stage where I could hardly run. I had to take time to get that right and hopefully that is right now."
