Thomas to make debut

Doncaster defender Wayne Thomas could make his full debut at Cardiff. Thomas, who signed a one-year deal last week following his release from Southampton, stepped off the substitutes' bench to replace Shelton Martis against Bristol City on Saturday. Manager Sean O'Driscoll could be without James Hayter again. The striker missed out last weekend due to a hamstring strain, so Dean Shiels is likely to continue alongside Billy Sharp up front. James Coppinger, a second-half substitute last weekend, is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after shaking off a leg injury while striker Steve Brooker, fit again after his ankle injury nightmare, is hoping to play a bigger part following two previous cameo appearances. Midfielder John Oster and defender James Chambers remain sidelined with their respective knee injuries.
