Doncaster defender Wayne Thomas will return to contention for the trip to Bristol City. Centre-half Thomas, who has missed the last two games due to a knee injury, returned to full training this week. But midfielder Martin Woods has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to resolve a groin injury. Woods has made only 15 appearances this season and has been sidelined since the 3-0 home defeat to Reading in January. Defender George Friend is struggling with a double hernia but is playing on while being closely monitored and striker Steve Brooker is available after recovering from the calf injury that has sidelined him since early February. Leading scorer Billy Sharp (groin) along with defenders Joe Mills (foot), James Chambers (hamstring), James O'Connor (foot) and Mustapha Dumbuya (knee) remain sidelined.
