Sullivan faces battle for place

Doncaster goalkeeper Neil Sullivan has a fight on his hands in order to win back his place in the starting line-up. The 41-year-old has been struggling with a knee/shin injury that had kept him out for five matches before he returned to the substitutes' bench for the defeat to QPR in Rovers' last match, with manager Sean O'Driscoll opting to retain stand-in Gary Woods, 20. Rovers' assistant manager Richard O'Kelly said: "Over the last couple of months Gary has really stepped up to the plate. "He came into the side and did well and then we had the Ipswich game (6-0 defeat) which, from a team point of view, wasn't great for him. "Gary got the opportunity again to get back into the squad because of Neil picking up an injury and since then he has excelled. His understanding, distribution seem to have moved up a notch."
