Striker Sharp sits out Blades battle

Rovers, unsettled by a string of suspensions and injuries in recent weeks, have agreed not to play on-loan striker Sharp against his parent club, so Paul Heffernan is expected to return to the starting line-up alongside James Hayter. Heffernan and Hayter have struggled this season with groin injuries. James Coppinger, who has only just returned from an ankle problem, is doubtful after being kicked on his calf during the midweek draw with Swansea and Adam Lockwood is a major concern after sustaining a metatarsal injury in the same match. Midfield pair John Oster and Quinton Fortune sit out the second of a three-game ban following their dismissals against Scunthorpe while Sean McDaid, yet to play this season due to a cruciate knee ligament injury, is hoping to return to training next week.
