The influential midfielder missed Tuesday's victory over QPR with the complaint that flared up at Cardiff last week and boss Sean O'Driscoll is hopeful that a jab will do the trick to make his skipper available for the Keepmoat clash.

"The last two times he's had it it has worked so hopefully it will be the same this time," O'Driscoll told the Star.

"Hopefully he'll be fit for the weekend but if the jab doesn't work then he might as well go in and get it sorted once and for all."
