Doncaster captain Brian Stock has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract to keep him at the club until the summer of 2013. The Wales international was Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll's first signing when he took over in 2006 and he has made 167 appearances for the club since the move from Preston. Stock had been linked with several clubs during the winter transfer window and was the subject of a bid from npower Championship rivals Swansea. He told Rovers` official website: "There was interest from other clubs, but in my mind I wanted to stay at Doncaster. "It is all sorted now and I can concentrate on my football."
