Stock set for action against Bees

01 January 2010 09:48
Midfielder Stock, sidelined for three months after undergoing ankle surgery in September, was an unused substitute on Boxing Day at Coventry and is expected to be named among the substitutes again at Griffin Park.

Another long-term absentee, Sean McDaid, is also in contention for a return to the squad after an absence of over 20 months with a dislocated knee.

O'Driscoll, who has no new injury or suspension worries, is still without midfielder Martin Woods (groin) while striker Steve Brooker (ankle) is not yet ready to return.

O'Driscoll must decide whether to retain Dean Shiels alongside leading goalscorer Billy Sharp in attack or recall James Hayter, a 66th-minute substitute at Coventry, to his starting line-up.
