Snodin backs Rovers bid

Doncaster legend Ian Snodin says the club could be playing in the top flight for the first time in their history next season. Snodin is a big fan of the way that Rovers play under Sean O'Driscoll and feels that style could work to their advantage were they to go up. "They`ve certainly got a chance of making the play-offs," he told the Star. "There is a huge gulf between the Championship and the Premier League. "They would probably have to bring in around a dozen new players to strengthen their squad. "But some of the players already at the club would be good enough to play at the top level."
