Shiels hailed by Doncaster coach

The Doncaster midfielder is in a rich vein of scoring form for the Championship side with three goals in four games.[LNB]Assistant manager Richard O'Kelly said: "Dean has got that in his locker.[LNB]"As we've seen in recent games, he's a good finisher and he strikes the ball well with both feet.[LNB]"Dean is a work in progress, though he's improving rapidly. There are certain parts of his game that he needs to improve upon.[LNB]"But he is prepared to work on what he needs to do to make him a better player."[LNB]Shiels won the last of his eight caps a year ago and is determined to make the most of his recall to the squad ahead of the evening Windsor Park clash against the Serbs.[LNB]"I see it as a good opportunity to get another cap," he told the Sheffield Star.[LNB]"It's a new start and hopefully if I can do well in club football it will help get me into the national team.[LNB]"That will be an added bonus because, as I have said before, first and foremost I want to do well for Doncaster."[LNB][LNB] Serbia 6/5, Northern Ireland 15/8, Draw 9/4
