Sharp problems for Doncaster

Doncaster will definitely be without striker Billy Sharp, while midfielder Martin Woods is doubtful for the clash at Reading. Sharp tore his hamstring in last week's 2-0 home win over his former club Sheffield United and will be out for up to six weeks. Woods is struggling with a recurrence of a groin strain that forced him out of the action late in the same match. But manager Sean O'Driscoll could be boosted by the return of defensive pair James Chambers and Wayne Thomas, who have both been missing in recent weeks due to knee injuries. Centre-half Adam Lockwood came through a late substitute appearance against the Blades last week unscathed, but midfielder Simon Gillett and defender George Friend are still nursing knee injuries.
