Sharp: O'Driscoll big reason for signing

Doncaster striker Billy Sharp has revealed boss Sean O'Driscoll played a key role in his decision to join the club on a permanent basis. The 24-year-old, who fired 15 goals in 33 appearances for Rovers while on loan last season, was relieved to have finally signed a three-year deal after Sheffield United accepted Doncaster's £1.15million offer. Sharp, who turned down a move to Burnley after they had also had a bid accepted, told the club's official website: "The gaffer is a big reason why I have come here. I learned a lot from him and enjoyed my time working with him. "All of the lads have been brilliant and it worked last year - hopefully it can carry on."
