The 23-year-old forward, who becomes Sean O'Driscoll's fifth summer signing, has struggled to find his feet at Bramall Lane after returning to the club from Scunthorpe two years ago. The Sheffield-born striker began his career with the Blades before joining Scunthorpe, for whom he scored 56 goals in two years. His form prompted Sheffield United to pay £2million to re-sign him, but he has failed to hold down a first-team place ever since, scoring just eight goals in two years.
