Sharp explains shirty reaction

Billy Sharp explained his tongue-in-cheek goal celebration after his weekend double helped sink former club Scunthorpe at Glanford Park. The Rovers striker, who made 82 appearances for Scunthorpe and scored 53 goals before moving back to Sheffield United in 2007 and on to Doncaster two years later, pretended to take off his shirt after scoring a first-half equaliser before wagging his finger at the Rovers bench. Sharp said: "I'm on four yellow cards and I took my shirt off here last year. It was a bit of fun with (assistant manager) Richard O'Kelly. "I said that I would pretend to take my shirt off and then say no - and I did. "I enjoyed it, but the most important thing was that we got the win. With two home games coming up, hopefully this was a good start to a good week."
