Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is convinced on-loan teenager Ryan Mason can prove a big hit in the npower Championship. Mason, 18, arrived at Doncaster on a month's loan from Tottenham on August 13 and has made three appearances for O'Driscoll's side. The England Under-19 international spent last season on loan at Yeovil, where he made 29 appearances.O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "He's a bright boy. He's a very technically-gifted footballer for 18 years of age. He understands the game and picks things up pretty quickly."Unfortunately, he's 18, he's seven-and-a-half stone dripping wet and he's a technical footballer trying to make his way in an English division or league and that is difficult because it is all about pace and power."But he has been first class. I liked him when I watched him play and character-wise I think that he's first class."This is a good environment for him. He's among a first-team squad and he's learning all the responsibilities that you need if you want to play in the Championship."
