Ryan: No bids for Rovers' star duo

Ryan insists he has heard nothing of reports linking the Blues with an £8million raid for defender Matt Mills and captain Brian Stock. But Ryan admits he will be happy to accept such an offer, with Birmingham boss Alex McLeish having already failed with a £1.5million bid for Mills in January. "I've heard that Birmingham are set to make an £8million bid for Matt Mills and Brian Stock but there's no truth in it as far as I am concerned," Ryan told the Star. "If Birmingham offered that amount of money for the two of them, we'd snatch their hands off. But as far as I am concerned, there is no such offer in the pipeline. "I wouldn't be surprised if Alex McLeish did fancy Brian. Brian is a very good player and I wouldn't like to replace him."
