Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is convinced on-loan teenager Ryan Mason can prove a big hit in the npower Championship. Mason, 18, arrived at Doncaster on a month's loan from Tottenham on August 13 and has made three appearances for O'Driscoll's side. The England Under-19 international spent last season on loan at Yeovil, where he made 29 appearances. O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "He's a bright boy. He's a very technically-gifted footballer for 18 years of age. He understands the game and picks things up pretty quickly. "Unfortunately, he's 18, he's seven-and-a-half stone dripping wet and he's a technical footballer trying to make his way in an English division or league and that is difficult because it is all about pace and power. "But he has been first class. I liked him when I watched him play and character-wise I think that he's first class. "This is a good environment for him. He's among a first-team squad and he's learning all the responsibilities that you need if you want to play in the Championship."
