Ryan concentrating on staying up

Doncaster chairman John Ryan admits survival is the club's only aim after seeing their season ruined by a long list of injuries. Rovers have slipped to 19th in the table on the back of four straight defeats and two successive draws in their last six league encounters and lie eight points above the bottom three with 13 games remaining. Ryan said: "As long as we stay up this season I'll be happy because we'll never have an injury crisis like this every year. "One of these days we'll be able to keep a full team and make a real push. I've never known anything like it in 50 years of watching Rovers. "We need to look into it and see how we can prevent it in the future and get everybody ready for the start of next season. In the meantime, we have 15 more games and we'll just battle on."
