Doncaster teenager Robbie Clarke is hoping to follow in Waide Fairhurst's footsteps by making his first-team breakthrough at the Keepmoat Stadium Clarke, whose current deal expires in January, made his Doncaster debut in last week's Carling Cup defeat to Accrington alongside striker Fairhurst, who signed a two-year contract in the summer. Clarke said "I'm contracted until January 17, but I'd love to stay on here if I could. That would be my first choice and if I keep doing well then who knows what might happen?"I want to keep in the gaffer's thoughts and hopefully I'll still be around the place in a few months' time. "I want to keep working hard in training every day and hopefully I'll get another chance to play in the first team. "I feel as though I'm learning all the time working with the likes of Brian Stock, Martin Woods and John Oster."
