Rovers team up with half price for services personnell

Doncaster Rovers have nominated tomorrow's home game against Derby County as their Help for Heroes day The Championship club have called the Rams' visit 'Half Price for Heroes.' All serving military personnel will be able to get into the game for half price on production of their official military ID. Said Rovers' chief executive Dave Morris: "These people support and defend us at great cost so we wanted to give something back by giving them a good day out and give them moral support. "We will be inviting local soldiers and guests to the game such as the two injured lads, Craig Wood and Ben Parkinson. "We have had others as guests throughout the season and will continue to support the 'Help for Heroes' campaign throughout the season and beyond,"As part of the day there will be military personnel in attendance from regiments such as the Rifles, who have Doncaster soldiers serving in Afghanistan.They will parade around the ground before the game. Doncaster Rovers Community Trust will be presenting one unit, who travel out to Afghanistan shortly, with a full playing strip to take with them.
