Rovers run football activities for juniors

Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation have been scoring well with local youngsters as a result of running two highly successful holiday clubs for children. Soccer courses, based at Hall Cross Lower School,Bessacarr, are fun-based football holiday activities open to children of all abilities aged between 3-7 years old. They aim to teach general ball skills in a fun, enjoyable and safe environment.Community Foundation coaches have been delivering sessions that work on core football skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting and heading, as well as developing hand eye co-ordination and key motor skills. All sessions have had the primary aim of enjoyment with key skill development being obtained through play. All Sports Week is ran in partnership with the Keepmoat Stadium and is a high intensity holiday programme aimed to enthuse and engage young people aged between 7-16 years.
