Rovers players back Doncaster youth cyclists

Doncaster Rovers stars gave their backing to a youngsters' cycling project set up by the club during the Easter holidays Mustapha Dumbuya and Joseph Mills turned into spectators for the afternoon, when they turned out to watch youngsters taking part in the Rovers Community Foundation's first ever Rovers Bike Club.Both attended the event at Cantley Park and watched participants complete a course which led from Rovers' training ground through Sandall Beat Woods. The youngsters were then invited to watch Rovers train on their nearby training pitch."I am delighted with the turnout for the first Bike Club," said Rovers' health and wellbeing manager Richard Bailey. "I think the event showed the importance of all the family coming together on a bonding day with everyone concerned having a great time." The event was part funded by Bike Club - a joint venture led by ContinYou, UK Youth and the national cyclists group CTC.
