Doncaster midfielders Robbie Clark and Simon Whaley have had their contracts terminated by mutual consent. Both teenager Clark and Whaley, 25, have found it difficult to break into Sean O'Driscoll's first-team squad this season and have left the club in search of regular football. Clark, 19, who has progressed through the youth system at the Keepmoat Stadium, made his Rovers debut in the home Carling Cup defeat to Accrington in August but has failed to make a further appearance. Former Preston winger Whaley joined Rovers on a non-contract basis in November following his release from Norwich at the end of last season.
