Rovers midfielder extends loan deal at Oxford

Doncaster midfielder Josh Payne has extended his loan spell with Oxford until January Payne's deal was due to expire after Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Cheltenham but both clubs agreed to an extension which will see him stay with the Us until the new year.Manager Chris Wilder is delighted to keep Payne at the Kassam Stadium, and told the club`s official website: "Josh has done great for us. He has fitted in well and is enjoying his football."Doncaster see it as a way for him to gain valuable experience and we are happy to have him here. He is a popular lad and has done well for the team."
