Doncaster Rovers midfield star Mark Wilson will again be missing when the club play their final warm-up game against Sheffield Wednesday at the Keepmoat Stadium tomorrow. Wilson, who broke his big toe in a training accident prior to the club's second warm-up game at Quorn, is due to go back to see a specialist on Tuesday to see what action, if any, he intends to take."He'll either decide to put a pin in the bone or let it heal by itself," said the 31 year-old."It will probably mean being out a bit longer if I have it pinned, so hopefully it will be okay.""It is frustrating being out and missing most of pre-season after working hard on my fitness during the summer and coming back feeling fit and healthy."But I am old enough and wise enough now to know that I've just got to get on with it."There is no good time to be out for six weeks, but I suppose if you are going to get injured that it is best during pre-season so that you don't miss as many league games."Obviously the injuries - John Oster and James Chambers have both had knee operations - have affected the team's build-up to the start of the season because the gaffer wants a full squad of players to choose from."We want to get off to a good start this season and unfortunately we've got a few players who are going to miss the opening games. I"It is a headache for the manager, but he is shrewd enough to deal with it. Hopefully we all be back by early September."I'm able to do some work on the bike to help maintain my fitness levels, though it is painful."It will be like a mini pre-season for me when I'm fit again and able to resume full training."Looking ahead to tomorrow's encounter against the Owls, Wilson said: "It is an important game, especially with it being the last warm-up game."The manager will have a starting line-up for the game at Preston in his mind."It will be important that we try and get our set-pieces right as well as all the other things that we've worked on in training
