Rovers duo ruled out
Doncaster duo James Chambers and John Oster have been ruled out of the start of the new season after undergoing knee operations.
Full-back Chambers and midfielder Oster have been struggling with injuries throughout pre-season and both went under the knife on Thursday in a bid to cure the problems once and for all.
Rovers expect the pair to be out of action for around six weeks.
