Rovers dismiss Stock Wolves talk

Doncaster Rovers have dismissed newspaper speculation that captain Brian Stock is wanted by Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanders.The 27-year-old midfielder, who is under contract until 2011, has been linked with a £2m switch to Mick McCarthy's newly-promoted side. Rovers chairman John Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We have a very friendly relationship with Wolves. "If they were interested in Brian Stock they'd ring us up." The Welsh player joined Doncaster from Preston in 2006, initially on loan, and featured in 40 games this season.
